My Dyson Animal D17 shuts down when you are using it. Then it won't start up for 15 mins or so. My husband and I took it apart cleaned, checked for clogs, blew out the bags section with a air hoise. None of this works.
My Dyson Animal D17 works for 15-30 seconds and then the brushes just stop. I set it upright then pull back down to vacuum and it works again for 15-30 seconds and then stops. Does that sound like yours. Seems to me this vacuum is worthless........

my Dyson has so much suction that you can't move it on our new carpet with higher pile. I wish I knew how to adjust it so it would work. We have two dogs (one sheds enough for two)and I really need it.

my Dyson Origin I have had for only a year and a half - I have done all the things in this video there are no blockages but the suction is still rubbish - it was extremely good when I first got it but now it's rubbish :( what else could be affecting the suction if there are no blockages?

I have a dyson dc01 the sweeper head wont lock ( hold down) I have to hold it down with my foot to push it down on the carpet. How can I fix it? Should mention fan belt and sweeper brush have been replaced.
How do you fix a broken handle. The plastic broke off at the base of the handle and all it does if flop all over. I can't see any replacement part that will fix this because it is part of the main base. This seems like a manufacturing defect.

My husband bought me the Dyson v8 a year ago. There was a short in the cord where you charge it. I got on the web site to ask for assistance. They kept telling me to clean the filters ( which I had done ). I found an address in the box to return it for the repair. I mailed it which cost over $18 to send. About a week later, it was sent back to me. It had been refused by the company, not even opened !!!! I will NEVER purchase another. The poorest service I have ever had !!!!!!!
