very useful however i did not notice you re attach the wires that the element is attached to at the back

Brilliant . After stripping all the back off my Cannon Henley with no joy. I found this great video and then beat myself up.My symptoms of the element fault was the cooker just kept tripping the house CB. So by disconnecting the element and switching back on it did not trip.
